As an avid player, I have learned a few important lessons while playing over the the last couple of years. It does not matter if you like to play at the ‘bricks and mortar’ type or the numerous internet casinos. The following are my golden rules of wagering, many of which can be seen as common sense, but if followed they will help you go a long way to departing with a sense of enjoyment.
Rule one: Go to a casino with a determined value that you are willing and can manage to risk – How much would you spend for an evening out on diner, beers, entrance fees and tips? This is a great value to utilize.
Rule 2: Do not carry your credit card with you – or any way of drawing money out. Don’t concern yourself about cash for the cab if you lose it all; most cab drivers, especially the ones hailed at casinos, will drive you to your home and will be more than happy to wait for the moolah when you get back.
Rule three: Stick to an upper limit. I constantly think of what I’d like to buy if I earn. The last time I was able to go, I concluded I would quite like to buy a new Video Game system which retailed at $400, so that was my upper threshold. As soon as I achieved that sum, I walked away. Just stop. Even if Clairvoyant Carla herself approaches with you the upcoming number for the roulette wheel, ignore her and back off. Leave comfortable in the understanding that you will be going into the mall and getting a nice new toy!
Rule 4: Have fun. When you’re "enthusiastic" you will certainly profit. It’s a reality. I do not know the reason why, but it simply is. Right after it turns into a burden, or you are just gambling to gain $$$$ you have lost, you usually will exhaust more. When you are profiting, having a great time with your mates, or your boyfriend, you usually will gain even more.
