Iowa Casinos

There are many casinos in the state, the majority on docked riverboats. There are several other dominant Iowa gambling dens, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 square feet, 1,212 one armed bandits, and 39 table games.

A smaller Iowa casino is the Diamond Jo, a paddle wheel boat gambling den in Dubuque, with 17,813 square feet, 776 slots, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend water based, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 slot machines, and 14 table games. One more Iowa paddle wheel boat gambling den, The Isle of Capri, is available 24 hours, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 sq.ft. river boat gambling hall in Clinton, has 506 one armed bandits, 14 table games, live productions, and Thursday blackjack events.

Iowa casinos offer an excellent amount of tax money to the state of Iowa, which has permitted the budgeting of many commonwealth wide activities. Visitors have increased at a rapid percentage accompanied with the request for services and a gain in working people. Iowa gambling dens have contributed to the expansion of the economy, and the excitement for wagering in Iowa is absolute.
