There are numerous other dominant Iowa gambling halls, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 square feet, 1,212 slots, and 39 table games.
A smaller Iowa gambling hall is the Diamond Jo, a river boat gambling hall in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 slots, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend river boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 one armed bandits, and 14 table games. Another Iowa paddle wheel boat gambling hall, The Isle of Capri, is open all hours, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot river boat gambling hall in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live entertainment, and Thursday 21 events.
Iowa casinos provide an excellent deal of tax revenue to the commonwealth of Iowa, which has permitted the budgeting of many state wide activities. Vacationers have grown at an accelerated rate along with the requirement for companies and a growth in working people.
